Conygre House, Filton
Following a competitive interview, we were pleased to be appointed by Network Counselling to refurbish the locally listed Conygre House in Filton.
Conygre House is a local landmark and has been the focus of a long-running campaign by the community to see it saved and returned to beneficial use.
This venerable building sits in its own landscaped gardens, and has been likened to a much loved pair of jeans that has been patched over the years.
The ambition is to provide secure long-term accommodation for the client's counselling and training services within a safe and homely environment. Low energy systems and sustainable materials are at the heart of the project, as well as a sensitive acoustic strategy to minimise noise transfer between spaces.
