Raglan Road
This was the remodelling of an existing four bedroom terraced family house spread over three storeys within a suburban road in Bristol. The brief included extending the kitchen at the rear of the house to provide a dining area, and modifying the existing loft bedroom to provide a suitable space for master bedroom with office and ensuite bathroom.
The kitchen now wraps around the back of the building to provide a deceptively large kitchen/dining area -a particular feature is the oversize folding screen which gives a sense of space and allows light into the depth of building.
Following successful planning application, the works were completed under a Homeowners Building Contract.
The design enhances the external fabric of the house, bringing a greater proportion up to current standards, whilst giving the owners more space and light.
