St Andrews Church Hall
In 2011 the practice was appointed to act in a quality monitoring role on a project to build a contemporary community church hall for St Andrew’s Church in Combe Down, Bath.
Designed by Hetreed Ross Architects, with a large meeting hall and other accommodation under a curved roof, the new building was procured under a Design and Build Contract, with Bare Leaming and Bare as QS, and Ken Biggs as Main Contractor.
The building is characteristic by a well insulated envelope, with particular care in the detailed to achieve airtight construction and avoid cold bridges.
The project was completed in November 2011.
