A quick overview of some of the things we have been working on.

We start with the successful opening of the new Soil Association headquarters (pictured above), attended by 50 or so invited guests and friends of the association. The event was introduced by chair of the trustees, Dr Gabriel Scally, with Chris Askew talking about the project and healthy workspaces, followed by Chief Executive, Helen Browning summing up the work of the association. The evening was attended by a number of members of the Spear family, who were major donors for the project. Interestingly The Times also ran a major feature on Helen Browning and her new book this week.

Elsewhere, the practice entered and was shortlisted for the Hidden Homeless Competition -more of this to follow.

We continue to work on housing projects, with a pre-app for combined community residential building for Bristol Community Land Trust, six affordable flats for the Pickwell Trust and a new housing development for Whitecroft to the south of Bristol all starting up.

As well as our ongoing workload, a number of new opportunities have arisen. We have just submitted a tender proposal for sixteen affordable flats for Bristol City Council, under their framework agreement for consultants and a couple of interesting submissions for a Museum in Gloucester and small project for the BBC here in Bristol.
