Well, we made it to the end of 2019. We thought we would ignore the rain and post some more seasonal images of Staunton Manor Farm in the snow.
It feels like an eventful year. Claire had a baby, Stefania passed her Part III, and sadly Sam departed to sunnier climes on the other side of the world. Our workload has shifted in a couple of ways -we are now doing much more housing, and a number of projects have recently started on site. The run up to Christmas bought a number of new enquiries and a couple of pre contract meetings for start in January, so we are looking forward to a positive restart in the new year.
The best news of all was that two of our projects have been long listed for the Macewen Award for “ architecture for the common good “ Our projects for the Soil Association and the Green House are featured at www.ribaj.com/macewen/2020-macewen-award-longlist-architecture-for-the-common-good-hugh-pearman
Until then, wishing everyone a very happy Christmas. Please do spread the goodwill and look after those less fortunate, particularly those in need of a home.
