Summer 2015 -getting things built

It's been quite a while since we last did an update, so there is lots to report…..including a number of projects that we gone to construction phase.

We we have been working close to home on a couple of cool workspace conversions for some very interesting clients -Willis Newson and Portland Brown. The new hq office refurbishment for Portland Brown was recently completed in Stokes Croft, and the fit out for for Willis Newson is currently on site.

We assisted AEOB in their business planning and funding application six self-build flats in St George, Bristol. Following approval by Triodos the project is starting in earnest this month. We are really pleased to be involved in this important scheme to provide affordable community led affordable housing.

Likewise construction of the Zero Carbon Hub for Solarsense (link) was started by Natural Design and Build. As well as incorporating a significant renewable energy component, the project will be used to demonstrate many aspects of sustainable construction.

Over summer, we were appointed by Whitecroft Developments to submit an application for the listed farmhouse at Staunton Manor Farm, including restoring the farm buildings as a variety of homes clustered around the former farmyard. We will be renovating the stone farmhouses to incorporate modern timber clad extensions to make eight completely unique homes.
