A few images of the proposal for Meadow Vale Community Centre in Speedwell. Currently in for Planning Approval, the proposal is for refurbishment and extension of the existing centre in two phases. The project is partially funded, and the programme is to construct phase I in 2017.
The plan is to completely restore the existing facility and to provide a community hall to meet Sport England guidance, with related changing and storage spaces.
The proposal will entail removing the existing graffiti mural fronting on to Meadow Vale Park, however the new building will include an extensive surface for new art work.
